Sharing knowledge and developing solutions
The sustainability challenges in the cocoa sector are manifold and require joint efforts and innovative solutions. Our multistakeholder initiative is founded on the belief that collective action and shared learning are essential to addressing the complex sector challenges. To achieve measurable impact, the members of the Cocoa Platform participate in learning events. The aim is to exchange knowledge and to develop joint solutions in a pre-competitive environment. This is how we share knowledge:
Building Strong Connections
We bring together the private sector, nonprofits, policymakers, and researchers through targeted networking to collaborate on shared goals and resources. Strong partnerships help create and expand innovative solutions, amplifying the impact of everyone involved.
Hosting Events and encouraging peer learning
We organise online and in-person presentations, discussions, and workshops where members and thought leaders come together to discuss challenges and share fresh ideas. Events that inspire new perspectives and provide practical peer learning allow participants to gain a clearer understanding of challenges and ideas they can apply, sparking meaningful change in their work.
Providing Research and Publications
We publish briefs and guides on topics of relevance and emerging trends to facilitate the integration of approaches and learnings for stakeholders to make smarter decisions, aligning their actions toward shared impact. Moreover, we publish reports that showcase the advancement of the Platform's objectives at national and international levels.
