Cocoa Tertulia - SWISSCO Webinar Series

In response to our member's requests for a platform to exchange insights, we have introduced Cocoa Tertulias. What is a Cocoa Tertulia? It's a one-hour webinar format where members and partners can showcase findings, progress, insights, or projects relevant to our community. Cocoa Tertulia is your stage for connection, sharing, and enriching collective knowledge. This webinar series promotes collaborative learning among members and partners.

On this day, SWISSCO will hold its Annual General Meeting. This full-day event at the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL) in Frick (AG) will feature a thematic session on agroforestry in the morning, followed by the statutory part and Roadmap discussion in the afternoon.

4 December 2024: Tracing Carbon in Cocoa: Long-Term Insights Across Cropping Systems

We discussed how different farming practices can help reduce carbon emissions and their potential impact on sustainability, looking into various scenarios. We explored long-term data on carbon emissions and balances in three cacao farming systems from the SysCom trial in Bolivia.
