The focus of the event was on the question of how the prevention and combating of child labour is and can be integrated within the framework of landscape projects. During the event, some landscape projects were presented and there was panel and group discussions around core criteria that such projects should fulfil, the relevance, benefits and challenges of working with different actors, funding mechanisms, mandatory human rights due diligence (mHRDD), etc.
This cross-sector event was jointly organised by SWISSCO, the Soy and Palm Oil Network as well as the Interest Community for Coffee and aims to promote dialogue between politics, business and society.
Our last General Assembly took place on Thursday, May 25, 2023, in Fribourg and was hosted by Villars from the manufacturers, traders and importers sector.
This one-day event at the ZHAW in Wädenswil addressed two central topics of SWISSCO's Roadmap 2030: 1) monitoring and 2) gender equality.
